ICGEB Workshop "Advances in Modern Biotechnology for Human Health - BAHH", held in Bucharest, Romania, is dedicated to disseminating advances in biotechnologies for human health that can significantly improve quality of life.

The objectives of the BAHH scientific event are to provide an opportunity for scientists from around the world to present and discuss their latest scientific results and for the development of close relationships between researchers in the different fields of medical biotechnology.

The workshop will cover the following main topics (without being limited to them):

• Tissue regeneration
• Molecular therapies against cancer
• Biological modelling and simulation
• Biotechnology for human health

Language of the scientific event
The official language of the workshop is English (papers and oral presentations, abstracts and posters).
Registration
All registrations will be made on the workshop website (http://www.incdsb.ro/p/bahh2019/) which will be available in due course.
A limited number of scholarships (10 young researchers) will be awarded according to ICGEB rules. Scholarship applications will be available on the ICGEB event website - http://www.icgeb.org/romania-BAHH-2019.html.
Scientific event format
The workshop consists of keynote speaker presentations, oral presentations and a poster session.
Country trip
An optional excursion will be organized to the Cantacuzino Castle in Busteni, Prahova county and a tasting of Romanian wines at Halewood Cellars (Azuga) RHEIN&CIE cellars.
Accommodation
Accommodation will be in a 4-star hotel located in the centre of Bucharest. Further information and costs will be posted on the scientific event website.
Visa
For participants who need entry visas to Romania, the required official documents will be provided by the local organising committee (bahh.2019@gmail.com) upon request.

• Deadline for abstract submission: 14 February 2019
• Notification for acceptance: 14 February 2019
• Registration deadline: 25 April 2019
• Deadline for applying for official visa documents: after receipt of acceptance notification, but no later than 14 March 2019

Participation fees

• Early registration (before 14 February 2019): 120 euro fee
• Late registration (after 14 February 2019): 150 euro fee
• Student registration (early or late): 50 euro fee
