The project aims to obtain new bioactive compounds by superior valorisation of agro-industrial by-products and their incorporation into highly bioactive polymeric hydrogels for 3D printing of innovative, structurally stable and biocompatible biomaterials for the development of new protocols for the treatment of burns and chronic skin wounds.
