Novel bioprinted 3D composites based on extracellular matrix components and bioactive antimicrobial compounds encapsulated in chitosan nanostructures for wound healing in diabetics

Description

The project proposal aims to develop an innovative strategy for chronic wound healing in diabetics by creating novel 3D bioprinted composites based on extracellular matrix components (gelatin and hyaluronic acid), antimicrobial peptides from algae and flavonoid trigger (naringin) encapsulated in chitosan nanoparticles.
