Biography

1991-1996 - I attended the day courses of the Faculty of Biology of the University of Bucharest, Department of Animal Biology. The title of my thesis was "Influence of heavy metals on the intestine of Cyprinus carpio".

1996 - 1997 I attended the Master in Taxonomy at the Faculty of Biology, University of Bucharest. My dissertation was entitled "Study of Gobiids from the Black Sea".

2006 - 2011 I was a full-time PhD student in the Department of Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis, Faculty of Applied Chemistry and Materials Science, Polytechnic University of Bucharest. PhD thesis title: "Determination of biologically active substances extracted from plants by membrane procedures", supervisor: Prof.dr.eng. Gabriel Lucian Radu.

Since 2003 I am part of the Bioanalysis Centre with competences in: enzyme immobilization, obtaining biocompatible supports (microparticles, membranes), obtaining plant extracts and their processing by membrane technologies (micro-, ultra-, and nanofiltration), bioanalysis of plant extracts by spectrophotometric methods.
