DANUBIUS-RO-2 creates real added value by transforming Romania into a regional centre of excellence for integrated research on river-sea systems, by strengthening human resources and scientific infrastructure, fully interconnected with the European DANUBIUS-RI network.

At national level, the project will support the development of an advanced research, observation and analysis infrastructure within the Danube Delta Analytical Node and Supersite, contributing to the increase of Romania's scientific and technological performance.
