The National Research Authority, together with the Consultative College for Research-Development and Innovation (CCCDI) and the West University of Timisoara, is organising the National Conference of National Research and Development Institutes (NRIs), which will take place in Timisoara on 3-4 September.

The conference aims to increase the visibility and the recognition of the strategic role that these institutes play in the national system of research, development and innovation, by highlighting the results obtained, the evaluation processes and the future directions of development.

At the same time, the event provides a space for dialogue between researchers, academia, government and the private sector, encouraging partnerships and joint projects with an impact on innovation and economic competitiveness.

The INCDSB was represented by Mrs Simona Litescu (President of the INCDSB Scientific Council) and Mrs Mihaela Păun, Director General and President of the Bioeconomy and Health Commission of the CCCDI.

Director General Mihaela Păun participated with the President of the NCA, Mr. Andrei Alexandrulive on TVR Timisoara, in a speech dedicated to the national research system, the conference of National Research-Development Institutes, as well as the DANUBIUS-RO infrastructure coordinated by INCDSB.
