Andreea Iosageanu

Research Scientist - Cellular and Molecular Biology

Biography

I graduated from the Faculty of Biology of the University of Bucharest, majoring in Biology, and the Master of Medical Biology from the same faculty. I am currently a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Biology - University of Bucharest and my main field of activity is tissue engineering.

I have over 5 years of research experience, during which time I have been a team member on numerous health and biotechnology projects.

I perform in vitro cellular assays for the evaluation of potential therapeutic agents: cell viability/cytotoxicity/proliferation assays (MTT, MTS, Neutral Red, LDH) including antitumor activity, morphological analyses (Giemsa staining, H&E as well as fluorescent staining), determination of cell migration capacity, determination of photoprotective effect (by irradiation with UV light), determination of antioxidant activity, ELISA assays.
